By popular demand, I want to share with you my BMPCC setup. I used to be a juggernaut on set and carry tons of stuff and backpacks. With knowledge comes great responsibility…not really lol I just became a little wiser what I really need.
Now let’s talk about the essential point here! Doing it VS Doing it. You can have all the gear in the world, but if you never leave your kitchen testing that Art lens…sorry, you not doing it. I realized a long time ago, that I can be the joke with all the gear or a minimalist that actually goes out and doing it. I decided to trim down all my gear and do stuff.
Gear doesn’t make you a better filmmaker at all, it makes you lazy and cautious. Let’s face it, nobody wants to go to some sketchy hood with Arri Alexa and Tons of Pelican Cases full of prime lenses to film something. Meanwhile, while you are sneaky and portable, you in and you out. That’s the philosophy behind my setup!

One of the main reasons why I choose the BMPCC camera is the fact that I can make it look like Arri Alexa with one click. I spend a long time creating Origami LUT making Pocket Camera looks like Alexa, minus the dynamic range of course. Anyways…enough of reading, link to the video below!
